Link Up Love Party with K Andrew

Kristal over at Getting Cricky is having another Link Up Love Party! A love party is a way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration,& make new friends! Kristal is an amazing woman with tons of talent. She inspires me daily. You need to check out her blog!

I love to garden, so I'd have to say one of my favorite projects are the Seed Packets I designed as a way to share seeds for old friends & new ones too! I also sold some at a local fair, both empty so they could be filled by the customer, and some filled with seeds from my garden. The twist to these seed packets, is I call them 'Seeds of Hope'. I then donate 1/2 the proceeds to local cancer organizations. As most of you know I lost my son Tommy when he was 3 to cancer. I don't have any Hope packets made up right now, so here is a graphic, along with pics of the regular packets.

Such a cute idea and what a great thing to donate!

Thanks for visiting and returning the favor and following.

I left a reply on my blog but just in case I'll leave it here too. In wordpress, (to my knowledge) you either have to subscribe via email or through a rss feeder like Google Reader. I use Google Reader which links up through your gmail account if you use them and it's really easy.

Thanks!

Cara

What a great way to give back to such a worth cause! I love the idea of the seed packets and the design of them!! I am a annual participant in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure as I have lost family and have family survivors of Breast Cancer. I have had the BRAC testing and carry the mutated gene, so I have to go get a mammo every six months so I completely relate to you on that level and I am so thankful for Link Up Love Party with K. Andrew, if I had not joined I would not have found you and been so inspired by your kindness!

I am so very sorry to hear about your son, I can't imagine what that must feel like. My thoughts and prayers with you. Your seed packets are a wonderful way to give back and try to fight this horrible disease.

Stopping by from K Andrew's Link Up Love Party.
