OWH VCMP: All Creatures Great and Small

Hello and welcome to Operation Write Home's VCMP. I am honored & please to be your hostess for this portion of the party. My theme is 'All Creatures Great and Small; Cards for Kids!' I love making cards for children and thought that you would like this challenge as well. I usualy use my Cricut and CAC carts, but I have started to move into digis I can make and color in PSP. I have made many critter cards the past month, but for this I chose to honor our very own Ciara! My Bear is SO in love, but a coast to coast romance isn't feasible. So, your challenge is to make a card that features a critter of some sort. Puppies, birds, turtles, aliens (well they ARE 'creatures"..lol, jk.), etc. I think whether they are cartoonish or realistic, stamped or digi, they will all be great! Don't have a critter? No worries. Leave a request with your email address in a comment on this post OR Email me. and I will send you 'baby Ciara'.(must be used for this challenge) It will be sent quick since I will be here all weekend! *(You will have to re-size her from the original, unless you request me to size her for you.)*

Recipe;
Base - 5.50 x 4.25
Layer 1 - 5.25 x 4
Layer 3 - 4.50 x 3.25
Strip 1 - 5.25 x 1.50
Strip 2 - 5.25 x 1.25
Baby Ciara is about 2.25 x 3 and matted 2x in 1/4" increments, except top & bottom.

The 3 accents of left are about 1.12: and matted on black layer 1/8" bigger

~I am sorry I am unable to tell you about the DP. It was in a box of RAK and I LOVE it. (only one sheet...:( All the bones, paws and OWH safe glitter embedded in the paper. I also used a couple of tutorials found at Operation Write Home, so I was able to use all the papers with very little waste!
